End of the Year

With the end of the year rapidly approaching and many fun events planned, what should teacher expectations be for student behavior and school work?  What should the consequences be if students are not meeting these expectations?  Explain your reasoning and give details.

At the end of the year, teachers usually give little to none homework. Student behavior tends to extinguish, giving more time for fun events. In my opinion, if students still misbehave, teachers still have to discipline the students. When it comes to discipline the students, I think the best way to do so is to make the student sit out for that specific fun event. But, hopefully, no students give the teachers a hard time at the end of the year.

There is going to be a lot of fun activities at the end of the year and you need to meet the behavioral expectations. If you mesh around say like when the teacher is out of the classroom then you will be given a warning or you might not get a warning and you might just miss a fun activity. Then you would have to be in the class room reading a book when everybody else is having fun at the activity and your friends are hanging out without you. In the classroom you should not be talking to anyone unless your teacher tells you to talk to someone near you and you should not be dancing, jumping, throwing erasers in the class room.

  5. If students are not meeting these expectations they should not be able to do the fun events. They have to be respectful and quiet. They should turn all of there homework and should be meeting there A.R goal.

  7. The teachers expectation on students behavior and schoolwork would be.Well,a bit naughty, some kids might be nice, caring, and respectful others not so much. Many students that act bad might change to be good or not. Many other students might think"Since its almost the end of the year i can do whatever I want!!!!YEA!!!"but NO you can't because your still in school. Some people might think i need to be good so I can't get in trouble, some might think meh I don't care if I get in trouble. Also if a student might not be acting good the consequences would be,They can't go in any fun activity depending on how many times they did something wrong. For example:This kid disrespected someone and they did it once then they miss out on only one fun thing. But if they did it too many times then they miss out on 3 depending if they did it that many times. Also and fun field trips too that should follow the same thing. Depending on how many field trips we go on thats how many they're going to miss out on like one time one field trip many times then many field trips.Over all those are pretty good consequences.

For the students, most of the teachers in school expect all of the students who don't do good in school to be on their best behavior and kindness. If those students who are not well behaved in school and chose not to, then for the fun activities, that their doing, the bad students will then stay in the PRINCIPLE'S for the entire week of the last day of school. While they are in the PRINCIPLE'S, all of the students can enjoy their final days of school.

  9. What should the consequences be if students ate not meeting these expectations? I think the consequences would be that the teacher would talk to the student parents and the student should work more harder if he wants to make it to what ever grade. If he doesn't meet these expectations then he should get help or go to summer school. They should not play any sports or any games for the summer and learn what he has trouble with in school.

  10. Teacher expectations of their students should be that they are quiet, respectful, and act responsible to everyone. If their student do not meet these expectations they would have to sit out while reading or do homework that they didn't finish. Or if a student is acting so inappropriately to their teacher and to their fellow classmates then some teachers would call the students guardians about their behavior. Then if the student acts even more inappropriately the teacher would spend them or expel them.

  11. With the end of the year coming up fast and many exciting events planned students will be feeling happy and excited! They may be a little bit more wound up than usual, but teachers should not expect us to be out of control. If someone does do something inappropriate then they should miss out on an event or multiple or part of an event depending on how bad this student behaved. I cannot be sure of how much schoolwork you should expect to be done though. It's almost summer and students just won't like schoolwork. So if you give them lots of homework and such, then you won't turn out so popular! I do recommend letting go and having fun with your students though!

  12. With the end of the year rapidly approaching and many fun events planned, what should teacher expectations be for student behavior and school work? The teacher's expectations for the students behavior is to be respectful and have no arguments . The expectations for the school work is to listen to directions and have fun. If the students don’t reach those expectations the consequences will be that they don’t participate in the fun activities planned for the end of the year.

  13. teachers should have their scholars pay attention, listen, not talking while the teachers talking, follow directions, and do what the teacher says. If the scholars don't listen to the teacher, the teacher should take away the activities one at a time.

  15. With the end of the end of the year approaching teachers expectations for students they need to have good behavior in order to participate in fun activity's.If students behavior is bad the consequence needs to be they need to write two pages from the science text book.

  16. The end of the year is approaching students need to have Ippropate behavior to do fun events.Teachers expectations should be strict. The teachers will give them three chances if they use one they will get on strike if they get all three strikes then their out .The students that got three strikes wont be able to do the fun activities and they will have to go to a different class room and do work.Students need to be on their best behavior to be able to do fun activities.

  17. With the end of the year rapidly approaching and many fun events planned. Teacher expectations should be for student behavior and school work. We should not be in islands. Those in islands should try to come back to their countries(table groups). Those in countries should try to stay where they are. We should do our work and not slack off. Do homework on time and meet our AR goals. What if we fail in to doing all of this? Well when there are fun events those students should be held back in jail. Nah, just kidding. Instead they should do work. Not like a school suspension but work for not being good in class. The year should hopefully have no islands and a great class swilkie never seen!

  18. With the end of the year rapidly approaching and many fun events planned, what should teacher expectations be for student behavior and school work? I insist that our class should have many fun parties during the end of the year. The kids who have bad behavior should go and do work in the other classrooms. In my opinion on the last day of school you should be able to chose who you want to sit next to. People who are disruptive cannot participate in any party! Swilkie shall put up with 0 bad behavior from us. She shall rule the school!

Students should still get school is almost out because they are goring to do all these fun things and they still need to learn because some kids do not have to go to summer school and they should get at least something to do.Kids are goring to need the extra time to do work instead of sitting around. If the kids do not do there school work then they should not do any of the fun things that are planed and the fun thing are for kids that do everything that they have to do.

  20. Teacher expectation for behavior is, the student should act the the same or better than they were the whole year. Consequences should be the student has to sit out at recess or sit in another or outside the classroom, and can not go to the fun activites. Teacher expectation for school work is for the student to do all of their school work and home work.Consequences for school work is for the student to do it for home work and can not participate in the fun activities, for school work you still can not participate in the fun activities.

  21. END OF SCHOOL…... OR IS IT?

At the end of the school year in the last week of school there is are events before school is over. The expectations for students to earn that is to get good grades and have a behavior that can let you to do fun stuffs like going to the beach and having a party or two. But not only that if you want to be in the party you have to be doing all your homework and being a great scholar. The expectations for students if the teacher is out of the classroom and then you act around like CRAZY!!! You will never get to go the the specials events because you didn’t have the expectations of being a good students.
