11/18/19 I ran down the court, sweat dripping from my forehead. Running like a cheetah, I was putting one foot over the other faster and faster. Easy Layup, 2 points. BEEP the clock buzzed loudly as we went into halftime. 27-25. We were down by only 2 points. Our coach called a play and we listened. Alijah coming down the midline passes it out to Braiden. The crowd erupted as Braiden hit a three-pointer. We used that momentum to get us through steal after steal. By the end, it was 51-30 and we had won the game. We steam-rolled past the next two teams as if they were nothing. My heart rate was getting faster as the championship game approached. We had a rough start but by the end, we pulled through with a victory.
nicholas This weekend I went to Nikos house and played games played with the dogs we box . we played tag in his backyard we played video games and video to see if the go viral. And we watch youtube eat and than eat candy from Halloween. And went skateboarding around his neighborhood.

I know it’s a bit too early to be talking about gifts, but i’m just so excited for the holidays. I talked to my mom about getting this new console that came out this year. It’s called, the Nintendo Switch Lite. I could ask for just a normal Nintendo Switch but it’s $100 more. I don’t want my mom to be spending a lot of money this year because she already has to pay a lot for Science Camp, I would feel really bad for her if she had to spend so much money on the family. She already does so much. I don’t want to stress her out. So, I asked for something that is a bit cheaper this year. -Vanessa
Alexander This weekend, my cousins came over to have breakfast at my house. I had a glaze doughnut and a muffin which both tasted great. After we ate we all started playing Mario Kart on the Nintendo Switch. I lost almost every time though. Next we had cupcakes because it was one of my cousins birthdays. After that everyone left and we had a relaxing day.
kana This weekend i spent the night at my friends house for her birthday. She invited 2 other girls named Candice and Breanna. It was alot of fun, when every one was there we went to the pool. We played marco polo, colors, and just talked/chilled. The next thing we did was hair and makeup. i did candices hair and makeup and kaitlyn did breannas. I did a more nudish on her, and kaitlyn did a pinky look. We finshed when it was 8 ish, then we started to eat ramen and watch movies, we watched teen beach movie
-Jeremy 11/18/19 One event from this weekend was when I stayed up until 3:30 AM, and the next day I had to wake up early to get my haircut and get my dog a haircut. So, even though I went to sleep late I had to wake up at 9:00 AM. When I woke up I was tired, but not as tired as I expected because as soon as I got up and started getting ready I was feeling good. I realised that if you feel tired in the morning all you have to do is get up and you will feel much better. This is the story of what happened over the weekend.
-Jeremy This weekend I was playing a game with my friend, and I thought what time is it? Whoa! I thought I read it wrong it was 3:30 AM! Then something hit me, the next day I had to wake up early and get my haircut! Oh no! So much was rushing through my head, one thing that surprised me was how I didn’t even feel very tired. So, even though I fell asleep really late I woke up feeling like I had been asleep for only a few seconds and I didn’t feel ready to get out of bed muchless getting my haircut. I knew I had to get up but it felt like chains were keeping me down onto my bed. Finally, I reluctantly got up, and got dressed. When I was out of bed and ready to go I felt like I had so much energy. I now know a new trick when you don’t get enough sleep, it is good to just get up and ready, and you won’t feel as tired, or maybe after that I didn’t feel tired because I played video games that entire day too and went to bed around 2:30 AM, but let's save that story for another time. Noah One thing i did over the weekend was playing with my friend Kaden . we played two touch and basketball for a while. After that we played cops and robbers on bikes the robber was a scoter and the bike was the cop the robber got a flat basketball to hit the cop with. It was really fun we played for 1 hour in the scorching heat.
Luciana One event from this weekend is that on Sunday me, my mom, and my sisters went to Ikea with our aunt. We stepped inside and saw lots of people going in and out. We went around and looked in lots of sections. Our aunt said we could pick one thing to get.My sisters dragged us to the stuffed animals to see them. It took them a long time to decide what to get but, we finally got out. We then went to the lighting section with all the light bulbs.

We went to a store that mostly everybody went to get a homecoming dress. She tried on so many dresses and then she found the right one. It was a black sequence dress and she also got black high heels to match. At the end she found some earrings to match with the dress but they were silver.

This place was loud, but so BORING. It was Saturday and I had gone to a party with my mom. Actually, ‘went’ is an easy word. It's more like she forced me to go. I hated these types of parties. Loud mariachi bands, everyone speaking spanish, sitting around and doing literally nothing since I didnt know anyone. Don't get me wrong, I speak some spanish, and my mom speaks a lot, but my mom almost NEVER talked to anyone there. She was on her phone practically the whole time. Could it get any worse? Apparently, it could. The music was still BLARING and I felt like my ears would start bleeding. Then I thought my experience was saved. Thought. We lined up to get a bag of candy and a toy, and I REALLY wanted a samurai sword. It was plastic and had a cover, and you could light it up and swing it and it would make sounds. But the girls could only get boring plastic wands. I said I didnt want it. I was really sad. When we were almost leaving however, my mom handed me a sheathed samurai sword. I sparkled with joy, and I was very happy. At least something good came from that party. (revised) Sophi

This weekend I went to Boomers. When I first got their my mom, my brother and I went on the go karts and it was fun! Then we went inside to play laser tag. There was a lot of people in the arena, their was two teams, the red team and the green team. We all went on the red team. Later the round started and we went to the other teams base and shot at them, and they fired back. We started to shoot their flag and then we won! It was a fun day! Aaron
I went to many places with many friends and it is really hard to choose one event.One event from this weekend is that I went to Round Table Pizza. When I went there, I saw many pizzas that probably had a great flavor. The smell of fresh and recently baked Pizza covered the whole place and it smelled good to people that like Pizza. We also heard when the person that took our order told the cook to do our Pizza. Once we ordered our Pizza we had to wait from 5-10 minutes so that the Pizza arrives.When it came I prayed and then I took a very big bite of the pizza.Before I tasted the Pizza and shoved it into my mouth,I felt the very soft crust ad cheese inside the crust and in the Pizza.When I tasted it,there was a huge explosion of flavor in my mouth as I chewed very slowly to enjoy it. Once we were done we went to play the games that were there and went away to do another event, and that was one event from this weekend.
Isaac One event from this weekend is that I went to my baby cousins birthday. She was turning 2 years old! The hamburgers were like the burgers from the movie “Good Burger”. Mmmmmmmm. Yummy! We ran around in the backyard, playing tag. The ground was almost as hard as rock! Then we went on the small slide they had, it was so slippery, it was like there was butter spread all over it.
Derek This weekend I had a soccer game, I was in the playoffs. We are not the best team in the league. We played against this team a lot we know they are better than us. We still tried, but we lost. At first we almost scored then they got the ball then passed it over our heads the goalie wasn't paying any atention and they scored. Everyone was mad at the goalie because he was playing around with the grass. They got the ball again he fainily payed some attention they ran across the feild to my half they shot the ball it was about to go out then my goalie hit it out on us. Now it was there corner kick. We knew they were going to try to pass we kicked it out and they scored and the game soon ended.
One event from this weekend was that I went to a baptism and bday party. I got up in the morning so early, so my mom could go to the hair salon it stayed there for a couple of hours and then it was my turn to get my hair done so i went with something small not to big and so i got curls. Then we went home got ready and we heated to the party we got there and we saw the baby his name is rodrigo/robot and the bday boy name is joel we gave them their parents and we went inside and I smell delicious food it smelled good then i went to say hi to the parents of the bday boy/baptism boy. Then we sat down i they served us food it was rice and beans and some meat i don't eat a lot because I was not very hungry. Then I asked my mom if could go outside because they were going to break the pinata and she said yes so i went out side and evry ne got in line i was on the side because i did not want to hit it then every one went and it almost broke then i hit it and bang i broke it. There I was standing on the edge, looking down. Would I make it? This weekend I went camping for boy scouts at camp. Although the hike was only 7 miles, it felt like 7, 000! The treacherous trail terrorized us! Narrow and at the edge of a cliff, the only way to continue was to work together. Immediately, we made a chain with the rope so that if someone fell the person behind them and the person in front of them could help them up. Luckily, with the help of the group, I was able to make it to the end of the trail. What a wild weekend!
11/18/19 Gabby Describe 1 event from this weekend There I was wondering when I was going home from boardam. I went to a swap meet it was in Annaiam . I could see the what used to be the Tower of Terror I could hear people screaming “ahhhhh” . I walked into the swap meet for some weird reason there was a lot of massage therapy places . But there was a lot of restaurants.But there was this one restaurant had a whole cooked fish and my mom said “can we eat there because when my mom use to cook that for me when I was little please !?”. And we ate there my mom got the fish that she wanted it took forever it felt like 6 hours ! Then finally we got it I was scared the eyes popped out but it was the teeth that scared me the most the scales were still on .I yelled out “ahhhhhhhhhhhh!” . Later when I calmed down tried some I did not like it “yuckkkk” my mom said “try it with lemon it is better with it !” so I put in my mouth I said “yummmm I love it !”.

ReplyDeleteOne event from this weekend was going to Target. We went there to buy some of the stuff we needed to get for Science Camp. My brother and little sister went straight to the video games section without telling us first. Mostly my dad picked all the stuff. My mom was at work. We bought stuff for the bathroom like shampoo, soap, and a toothbrush. Next, we went to get warm gloves. But I didn’t like any of them.
After we were done, we called my brother and little sister to go home. We also bought a movie before we left. It was Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark. We went home (we got In-N-Out on the way) and watched the movie!

Derek This weekend I had a soccer game, I was in the playoffs. We are not the best team in the league. We played against this team a lot we know they are better than us. We still tried, but we lost.
