Have you ever gotten something exciting and new but come to realize it becomes the biggest nightmare of your life? Well, my life became a roller coaster ride because of my “exciting and special” new thing. I remember the day exactly. So about 2 months ago, I remember opening the box I’ve been waiting for… my new robot companion! When I took her out of the box, I started thinking about different names. Then it hit me. JAXINE! When I pushed the power button, Jaxine said to me; “Hello, I’m Robot companion 2,000!” “ how may I be at your service?” The only thing I said back was; “I don’t care what you do with me, as long as it’s fun!” She said, “anything for you master!” Well, this is when my story gets “interesting”. After a long night of me and Jaxine goofing off and playing a ton of video games, school was the next day! When I woke up the next morning, Jaxine was making breakfast for me! I told her she is just so amazing and I’ll never leave her side! After having a gourmet breakfast, I went to my room to get dressed. As usual, Jaxine followed. Jaxine got me dressed, did my hair, and brushed me teeth. After all of that jazz, I packed up my things, said bye to Jaxine and told her to take care of the house, I locked up and started out to school. When I got to school and sat down with my friends, I noticed that some people were gathering around. I decided to check it out. IT WAS JAXINE!!! I had no idea how she got here and I had no interest finding out how! When she noticed me, she said; “after you left and locked up, I came out after you. I hollered at her, WHY!!! She told me because I told her “you’ll always be by my side”. I thought to myself, UGH!! Then out of the blue, she started to tell everyone all of my embarrassing secrets! I told her to stop, but to my surprise, she kept talking! So basically for the past 2 weeks, Jaxine have been following me EVERYWHERE! She is basically taking over my life! She wants me to ALWAYS hang out with her! I have NO time to hang out with my REAL HUMAN friends! But, one day she BROKE THE LAST STRAW! She followed me into my bedroom, went over to my bookshelf, took out all of my books and started tearing them up! I screamed THAT’S IT! Then I went over to her and started kicking her over and over. When I was done I yelled out, “I’m free!” The only thing I regret about destroying her was how darn expensive she was!

HONK,Honk,Eeeragh hey that guy just cut us of luckily you had radar so that we didn´t get into a car crass. wait the car has a flat tire and my mom doesn´t know that we borrowed her car we will need to get to a mechanic and get this poped tire fixed. 90 MINUTES LATER, hey guy, yes can you fix are poped tire, yes but for $89.99.but that is all of are money ok lets do it.20 MI NUTES LATER. all fixed ok we need to get home before my mom realizes we stole her car. ok we are home now lets go inside and play xbox.

It all started on a beautiful day at 6:30. Then it happended, when it was my birthday I got a robot. It turns out it was not the kind of robot that an everday robot does. This machine was humongus and a bit scary to look at. I looked at what the robot can do with my friends. It was amazing,intelligent and most of all good at granting wishes.We named him jeff. Then we saw a button that said danger. One of my friends was so anxious to touch the button, so he did. Then we were all gone. We were in the amazon for some reason staring into the darkness. The robot told us he will grant us three wishes. So obvisouly are first wish was going to skyhigh. After we went to the pool with a silde. Finally we went to yogurtland. I asked “ How do you do all this stuff?’’ He didn’t answer then we ended up at six flags again. After we literally teleported to the pool and ended back at yogurtland. I told him to stop then we returned home and didn’t find the robot. He disappered after we were back home. We gathered up to find the robot but was useless and couldn’t find the robot. We went to the liquor store all together to get some snacks and tried to forget what just hapended. When we were walking back home we saw a man that was looking at us. He stopped us and asked I will grant you three wishes. One of my friends took off the man’s coat. We saw who he was. He was another robot genie who tried to trick us. Then he walked away. Then we saw another one and another that kept asking us the same question. I said stop and they were finally gone.Then we vanished to some where I couldn’t explain. We weren’t exactly home we were basiaclly some place with flying cars that really almost gave me a heart attack. We asked what year it was to some person selling candy. We all started screaming and crying. We couldn’t think about how we were in 2099. But the robot genie tryed to save us from being on earth because the earth was going to be put to an end. We had to face the fact that this place was are new home.
Brandon, you are very creative! But, your story is difficult to understand with all the jumping around in setting. Please FOCUS your topic and stay within ONE idea to really develop your narrative. Melissa Gonzalez 04/28/2016 Alyssa My robot just came in and I’m a nervous reck! Right now I’m thinking about ALL the wrong things that can go wrong when I turn it on. I press the button and I hear “ Zip! Beep! Beep!” “ Hello my name is 04033723. I hear to help with are your needs” said the robot “ You can talk?!” I said in astonishment. “ Can you understand me?” “ Yes I can. I speak over 22 languages. I can also speak in any voice” said the robot I was speechless. I know I should had expect this from a robot but now that I’m seeing it real live, it’s weird. The robot was waiting for me to answer but I think it had to wait a few more hours. Finally I was back. “ My name is Melissa and your name is going to be Alyssa. Can please activate a sixth grade girl voice?” I told her. “Please wait a few moments.” I waited and waited. It either I was excited or Alyssa is really slow. “ Completed.” said Alyssa. “ Okay, Melissa what do you need help with?” ask Alyssa. I looked at her weird. I didn’t need help with anything. I just want to become a friend with a robot. “ I don’t really need help.” I told her. “ I just want to be friends” I said with a smile Suddenly Alyssa went crazy! New Robot Boop!Beep! “My name is Codsworth,your personal chauffeur.” he announces. I looked at the instructions manual,it says Codsworth has sensors that go around the car and can adjust to the traffics speed One day I start pressing buttons, Codsworth is not only a chauffeur, he is also a pet. I press the button ,Beep!Boop!, but nothing happened. So I left him on chauffeur mode. Two days later, I find Codsworth is getting bored. I tell my mom, she says, “I will let him drive you to grandpa’s house Saturday.” I argue back “but it’s only Tuesday.” She says Saturday. Late that night I here Codsworth making weird sounds,so we goto the car and start driving. One hour later, Codsworth suddenly malfunctions.He starts speeding!I try to take control of of the car. I see blue and red lights, so I turned Codsworth off and stepped on the brakes. I quickly restart Codsworth before the officer gets there. He shows the officer his license and he gives us a ticket. I can’t let anyone know.We drove straight home. The ticket says $200. The next morning I tell my mom Codsworth malfunctioned, and it will cost $400. I walked Codsworth over to the nearest repair shop. I used $200 for Codsworth. While Codsworth was being repaired , I walked over to the police station and used the other $200 on the ticket.
Ronald the Robot …When I pressed the button I almost passed out. POP! Out came some kind of scanner thing that flew onto my head. Five seconds later the robot started to speak. “Brain Scanning complete. How may I assist you Jonathan?” How did the robot know my name? “What just happened?” That was all I managed to say before I completely fainted. When I woke up the robot explained what happened. He told me that now he has personal settings from me and I can control him with my mind. All he needs now is a name. “I think I’ll call you Ronald after the founder of our town, Ron Town. Ronald West was supposedly a wizard that created this town with magic.” I thought it would be cool to name this high-tech, almost magical, robot Ron too! Ronald could do almost anything, it’s awesome! He can even turn himself into a car and take me anywhere in town. I loved Ronald, it just felt like he wasn’t telling me something. So one day I tried something. Ronald said that I could use my mind to control him, so I asked him if there was something he was hiding from me. Sure enough, he said yes. “What is it. I promise I won’t tell anyone. You’re like the dog I never had. No. You’re like the friend I never had!” Then finally Ron told me. “I ran away from the government!” I was shocked. “Why?” He said that he was scared of having the responsibility of saving people. “They wanted me to help miners by dragging them to safety and making sure that the air was safe for them.” I knew it was sad, but I had to say it. “Dude I think you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me, but you have to go back.” The next day I called the government and told them everything. “Ok. We are on our way to pick him up. Thank you Jonathan, you are doing a good deed.” Later that day, they came to take him. Ronald had clearly grown attached to me as well. “Do I have to go back?” “Yes, Ronald it is time. But maybe I can do something that will help.” Then he pulled a brand-new computer from his jacket. “Jonathan you can communicate to Ron through this computer here. Beep!Beep!Boop! As my new robot dog started to make noises starting its system Shelia’s metal eyes came alive. “Woof woof” the robot dog barked. “Cool!” I exclaimed. As we played together like best friends I thought the day would never end. Later my parents said that we would be going to the beach happily we all jumped in the car and drove off. On the small road trip I rubbed Shelia’s tummy and played with her my then we had arrived. “Wow look at all of the people” I exclaimed overjoyed. As we all hopped out of the car I asked “Can we go to the pier?” “Ok sweety” my parents exclaimed. Then we made our way there but suddenly seeing a fish swimming inside the ocean Sheila jumped right off of the pier not knowing that she would shut down. “Nooo!” I screamed trying to jump to get her but it was too late. Days past of me feeling angry at myself for not watching sheila. Until one day my parents went out for the afternoon not letting me come with them but after almost an hour of waiting they had arrived giving me a large heavy box. As I opened it tiers wielding in my eyes I had realized what my parents had bought me. “A puppy” I exclaimed. I jumped up and down tears in my eyes clutching the real adorable puppy. Then I knew that I would call her Sheila.
4/28/16 Yolotl My New Robot I went to go turn on my robot. Then my robot I brought my robot to life. The first thing I asked him was very simple. ¨ MY name is eddie ¨” I asked it. ¨Hi eddie¨the robot said. Then i said¨do you have a name¨ The robot said no. Then I thought I will have to gave my robot a name. I was trying out many different names, but none of them seem to fit. I finally thought of a name. Nelson was the new name of my robot. ¨Nelson¨ the robot repeated. I think that it liked its new name. I went downstairs and then my mom called me. ¨So hows the new robot¨ she asked. I said it was the best thing ever. Then she told my we were going to take a trip to the abonded mines. I was so excited that my ears almost blew off. Beep, beep. My robot nelson missed me. ¨Can we take we take the robot to.¨ I said She noded.When we got there my robot tested the air to make sure there were no chemicals in it. Then to worst thing happend.The mine started to collaps and I was stuck inside. Lucky for me there was a walky talky where I was traped. Nelson used his radio so i could the the people where I was. Then they finally got my out and everybody was safe. ¨How do you know how to get me out of there.¨ Nelson said he was also built to help miners in the mines. He used his radio to communicate with me and his thermal camera to track where I was. ¨Thank you for saving me nelson¨ Then we went home and went to bed.

Is this really happening.” I said Yes she said as we walked to pick up my best friend Sandra. After we picked up Sandra we decided to the Santa Monica pier. “Wow look at all the people!” I said as we walked to shore “Do you think Cinnamon is going to get lost in the big crowd of people” Sandra said No I think she will be alright. I said As we walked closer to shore a huge wave came over us and Cinnamon got lost on a tide wave.We tried to get her but there was no way that we can find she can in the middle of the ocean. As we left the ocean and saw a silver glimmer in the sun and it was Cinnamon. As we tried to turn Cinnamon back on she shut all the way down.At that second we tried to turn her on but nothing happend and it was all silent. We ended up getting a real live puppy. “I was really relived!!!” I said

Are you gonna help me or not I said. The robot answered I am gonna help you just you have to be patient the robot said. When bella was trying to help me my friend andrea came and said who are you! The robot answered I am a robot and your friend got me to help her. Andrea answered help her with what ? The robot said I will help her drive her mom's car to school and places she needs to go. Andrea answered ok but where is my friend. The robot said she is stuck in a hole.Then andrea said then get her out of there.A few minutes later the robot took me out and I said thank you for helping me. My robot is a hero he saved my life.
Joe Nathan Ramirez 4/28/16 In middle of the morning I woke up and went down stairs to check to see if anyone there. What I found was a robot in our living room in our home. My dad comes inside and told me that he bought me a robot and that it will always follow its new owner. When I turn it on I start hearing weird noises coming from the robot. “How will I help you” said the robot which was very weird since the robot can talk. My father told me that it will protect and follow its owner until if the owner wants to sell it to someone else. I told the robot “Your name from now on is Joe” After chatting a little I start getting ready for school and when I was walking I notice a weird noise coming from behind me. Clank, Clank! I turn around and found Joe right behind me holding a key which belongs to my parents car. Do you need a ride” the Joe said. It was only a block away but I said ok. Joe and I got on the car and drove there. I got off the car and the Joe started to drive back home. After school I start walking back home finding Joe sitting on the couch “Hello” Joe said. I start thinking that I don’t need a robot that protects me all day so I ask my parents if I could sell the and told me it’s your robot. I find a old women that was blind so I decide to sell it to her for 20$ and she bought. My life was now normal from now on.
Ever wanted a robot that could anything for you well, that happened to me. I read an article about that robots could do anything like saves lives, be your pet, and it can drive for you. I wanted a robot so I ordered on online. I got my robot in 5:00 am in the morning, I was so happy because I got my first robot. When I opened the box and took out my robot I turned the button beep,beep,bop, beep, bop, my robot said “Hello”. I said “My name is Raoul”, I told him I was going to name him Sparky. Sparky said he is a robot that could drive for me so I told him to take me and my brother and sister to soccer practice. So I told my brother and my sister to get ready for practice my brother said “WHAT?”, and my sister said “You can’t even drive a car”, she said to me but I told both of them that I ordered online a robot that could drive. The only problem was that Sparky didn’t ask my Mom or Dad to take the car, he the keys and started to drive I was relieved that Sparky could drive, I was having a contest with me and my brother to see how many minutes to solve a rubik's cube. We got to my soccer practice early and not in a rush because Sparky has sensors that can drive safe and we can also be safe.
After our soccer practice Sparky took us home but I told him to take us to IN-N-Out so I could buy food for my family so I ordered and I went back to home. We parked where it is supposed to be where it has to, I thought I was going to get in trouble because Sparky and I didn’t ask my Mom nor my Dad, and we did get in trouble but I explained every thing and my Mom, and Dad understood. I brought the food and both of them got surprised and said “ WHERE DID YOU GET THAT” I said “I got money so I could buy food for my family so we could enjoy it together as a family. But then one day Sparky made his own car then I said to return my books at the library, so he said OK beep. I was so tired that I watched the news the reporter said a robot was killed by a car accident and was sad Sparky was my best friend. He was a helpful friend for me and my family.

Bryan Sanchez 3/28/16 Messi I came down the stairs and greeted Messi. “How can I help you Messi chattered.’’ “I said can you make something to eat.” “I called my friends over,I told them let's play soccer.’’ “I told him he will be goalkeeper.’’ “Will told them to drive the car to the park.” “ And started playing soccer we were having fun Messi was a good goalkeeper.” “Eric said let's play a game Messi was the referred.” It was 1:1 my team was winning it was fun when got to the house. Messi left a note it said Later that day “Later that day he was on the news.” “He left because he was going to make the world a better place. Every one missed Messi a lot.’’ “I said to everyone, he made a good choice because he making people's lives safe.’’ In one month he was going on a special mission relase other robots to help make the world a better place.
Ding dong! I ran down the stairs and opened the door in a flash! A box layed there on the ground waiting to be opened. I ripped it apart as fast as I could and out popped my robot! Beep! Beep! The robot said “Hello!” I was so excited. After a couple of hours I had him programed. His name was Ean, his favorite color was green, he could find out anything in the world and he made pancakes in 2 sec. That night I went to sleep thinking about how cool it would be if I took Ean to school with me. The next morning I got dresses as fast as I could. I came down stairs and said greeted Ean. I asked him to make me some pancakes. And sure enough he did. After that we Zooomed out the door and got in the car. I had a bad feeling about this. We talked and talked I told him about school and what homework was. He thought school and homework was cool. My thoughts were so different. When we arrived at school everyone thought he was spactacular! Diiinnnnggg! 5th period, science. Ean acted weird in the science room. He knew a lot about the solar system and Mars. I was kinda interested in why Ean was like that. That evening while he was driving home from school I thought to myself, why does Ean know so much about Mars? Thankfully we got home with the car before my mom got home. I was eating dinner when i heard a loud BOOM come from the front yard! I ran out there terrified to see what I saw! A spaceship laying on my lawn. A thousand of thoughts went throgh my head… are aliens attaking? Why is there a spaceship in my front yard? But my last thought scared me, is Ean an alien? I was paralyzed with fear, I didn’t know what to do. The last thing I remember seeing is Ean walking into the spaceship! Two years later I did my research and found out that Ean was an undercover alien that lived in Mars!!! From that day I hated robots and was nervous any time I saw somtehing suspicious in the sky I was scared.
It was a cold December day in Miami, Florida of 2015. My parents arrived with a package. I asked “ What is that.” they said “ It’s for you here” “Thanks” I replied. I opened the package and a...robot. I went BONKERS! and fell. When I woke up I saw the robot I pressed the button and it went flashing in front of me. I fell because they finally got what I wanted. A few weeks past and I started to get to know Avia my robot more.
When I arrived at school my friends came rushing towards me I thought they were cheetahs at first. They said we should have a party at my house because my parents were going away for a few weeks. I agreed. We had a blast until my parents called and said they were coming home tomorrow. YIKES! Me and my friends freaked out and fell asleep. When I awoke the next morning my friends were all gone it was only me and my robot. I remembered that my parents were coming home and I started to clean up my robot helped as well. We finished just in time before my parents came home. I am glad that I have my helping robot Avia to help me with all this mess. Me and my robot had the best years in life.
Beep! Beep! Beep! It was my birthday. I couldn’t wait to see what was in my massive, jumbo present. Could it be a puppy. A new control system? I could fancied what was in that gift. I rapidly ripped the present into pieces. There in front of me was a 1900 dusty machine. “Thanks, mom. Thanks, dad,”. I muttered I didn’t really like the gift but it was better than nothing. What was this machine? Could it help me do my chores? What could it do anyways? “Matt, it’s not what you think it is,” My dad explained. “It’s a-,”. “A ROBOT,”! Mom continued. “What can it do,” I asked. I looked at the dusty robot. It looked like dwarfed sized droid to me. It was bright blue, outlined with a silver line. It had some round oval eyes. It had a metallic name already digged in the robot. It read Ian. I saw a bright red button on its side. I quickly pushed it. The oval eyes popped open faster than a hummingbird’s beat. In front of me was a half sized human robot. “How may I advise you,”? The robot asked. I was stunned. Did that robot just talk? Man I was so hysterical. This was so much better than a puppy or a game console. “His name is Ian,” Dad said. “Yeah, I can see that,” I replied. “What can he do Dad,”? Then Dad said “Ian can bring you anything you want. An apple, a toy, you name it”. “Now this robot isn’t a puppy or any type of pet, but you are responsible for Ian. Understood,”? “I understand”. When the day was over I just couldn’t sleep. I was energetic. Finally after an hour I fell asleep. Then suddenly I heard I heard a noise. I’d ignored it. Then all of a sudden Ian was in front of me. I pushed the side but and he was programed to shut off until someone pushed the button. That next day mom said she had a meeting at her office. So it was just dad,Ian and the robot. “Matt, Ian, come here right this instant,”! Dad growled. “What happened Dad,” I asked. “Mom’s wedding ring is missing, and where’s Ian”?! Dad replied. “ Ian,” I shouted. “Oh dad I think I programmed him off last night”. “Programmed him off”?! Dad said. “I programed him off last night”. Opps! I thought. Sorry dad. What was mom going to do? Was she going to ground my robot for an entire century. “Okay,” I thought. “Calm down”. “Dad” I said. “Maybe Ian accidentally stole mom’s wedding ring,”. “Our goal is to find that wedding ring before mom gets here,” dad said. Suddenly I heard “Beep,Beep-Error-Error-Error,”. That has to be Ian. I dashed down the stairs. There I saw Ian grabbing random things and handing them to my house cat mittens. It grabbed mom’s flower vase, dad’s number one shirt, and my ipod touch. “Dad, I see Ian” I blurted out. Faster than lightning dad came running down the stairs. The house looked like a mess. It looked like an earthquake. Dad and I quickly programmed Ian off. We cleaned the house less than two hours. Ian even helped us. We found mom’s wedding ring in Ian’s stomach(storage box). Mom came in like nothing happened. Ian was rebuild and he was build to bring other items to other people. A doctor from Hoag Hospital took Ian for a job. The doctor gave me $5,000 for Ian. I really liked Ian. I’ll always have Ian in my memories. Farewell Ian.

ReplyDeleteHave you ever gotten something exciting and new but come to realize it becomes the biggest nightmare of your life? Well, my life became a roller coaster ride because of my “exciting and special” new thing. I remember the day exactly. So about 2 months ago, I remember opening the box I’ve been waiting for… my new robot companion! When I took her out of the box, I started thinking about different names. Then it hit me. JAXINE! When I pushed the power button, Jaxine said to me; “Hello, I’m Robot companion 2,000!” “ how may I be at your service?” The only thing I said back was; “I don’t care what you do with me, as long as it’s fun!” She said, “anything for you master!”
Well, this is when my story gets “interesting”. After a long night of me and Jaxine goofing off and playing a ton of video games, school was the next day! When I woke up the next morning, Jaxine was making breakfast for me! I told her she is just so amazing and I’ll never leave her side! After having a gourmet breakfast, I went to my room to get dressed. As usual, Jaxine followed. Jaxine got me dressed, did my hair, and brushed me teeth. After all of that jazz, I packed up my things, said bye to Jaxine and told her to take care of the house, I locked up and started out to school. When I got to school and sat down with my friends, I noticed that some people were gathering around. I decided to check it out. IT WAS JAXINE!!! I had no idea how she got here and I had no interest finding out how! When she noticed me, she said; “after you left and locked up, I came out after you. I hollered at her, WHY!!! She told me because I told her “you’ll always be by my side”. I thought to myself, UGH!! Then out of the blue, she started to tell everyone all of my embarrassing secrets! I told her to stop, but to my surprise, she kept talking!
So basically for the past 2 weeks, Jaxine have been following me EVERYWHERE! She is basically taking over my life! She wants me to ALWAYS hang out with her! I have NO time to hang out with my REAL HUMAN friends! But, one day she BROKE THE LAST STRAW! She followed me into my bedroom, went over to my bookshelf, took out all of my books and started tearing them up! I screamed THAT’S IT! Then I went over to her and started kicking her over and over. When I was done I yelled out, “I’m free!” The only thing I regret about destroying her was how darn expensive she was!

HONK,Honk,Eeeragh hey that guy just cut us of luckily you had radar so that we didn´t get into a car crass. wait the car has a flat tire and my mom doesn´t know that we borrowed her car we will need to get to a mechanic and get this poped tire fixed. 90 MINUTES LATER, hey guy, yes can you fix are poped tire, yes but for $89.99.but that is all of are money ok lets do it.20 MI NUTES LATER. all fixed ok we need to get home before my mom realizes we stole her car. ok we are home now lets go inside and play xbox.
Jimmy, you have all the elements of a great story, but it was really difficult to read and understand with all the MINUTES LATER references. If you take the time to edit and revise I know you can do an amazing job! Right now it's 6/10, but if you fix it, you can increase your score!

got a robot. It turns out it was not the kind of robot that an everday robot does. This machine
was humongus and a bit scary to look at. I looked at what the robot can do with my friends. It was amazing,intelligent and most of all good at granting wishes.We named him jeff. Then we saw a button that said danger. One of my friends was so anxious to touch the button, so he did. Then we were all gone. We were in the amazon for some reason staring into the darkness. The robot told us he will grant us three wishes. So obvisouly are first wish was going to skyhigh. After we went to the pool with a silde. Finally we went to yogurtland. I asked
“ How do you do all this stuff?’’
He didn’t answer then we ended up at six flags again. After we literally teleported to the pool and ended back at yogurtland. I told him to stop then we returned home and didn’t find the robot. He disappered after we were back home. We gathered up to find the robot but was useless and couldn’t find the robot. We went to the liquor store all together to get some snacks and tried to forget what just hapended. When we were walking back home we saw a man that was looking at us. He stopped us and asked I will grant you three wishes. One of my friends took off the man’s coat. We saw who he was. He was another robot genie who tried to trick us. Then he walked away. Then we saw another one and another that kept asking us the same question. I said stop and they were finally gone.Then we vanished to some where I couldn’t explain. We weren’t exactly home we were basiaclly some place with flying cars that really almost gave me a heart attack. We asked what year it was to some person selling candy. We all started screaming and crying. We couldn’t think about how we were in 2099. But the robot genie tryed to save us from being on earth because the earth was going to be put to an end. We had to face the fact that this place was are new home.
Brandon, you are very creative! But, your story is difficult to understand with all the jumping around in setting. Please FOCUS your topic and stay within ONE idea to really develop your narrative. Right now it's a 5/10 because it's so all over the place. But, if you revise and edit, you can increase your score!

My robot just came in and I’m a nervous reck! Right now I’m thinking about ALL the wrong things that can go wrong when I turn it on. I press the button and I hear “ Zip! Beep! Beep!” “ Hello my name is 04033723. I hear to help with are your needs” said the robot
“ You can talk?!” I said in astonishment. “ Can you understand me?”
“ Yes I can. I speak over 22 languages. I can also speak in any voice” said the robot
I was speechless. I know I should had expect this from a robot but now that I’m seeing it real live, it’s weird. The robot was waiting for me to answer but I think it had to wait a few more hours. Finally I was back.
“ My name is Melissa and your name is going to be Alyssa. Can please activate a sixth grade girl voice?” I told her.
“Please wait a few moments.”
I waited and waited. It either I was excited or Alyssa is really slow.
“ Completed.” said Alyssa. “ Okay, Melissa what do you need help with?” ask Alyssa.
I looked at her weird. I didn’t need help with anything. I just want to become a friend with a robot.
“ I don’t really need help.” I told her. “ I just want to be friends” I said with a smile
Suddenly Alyssa went crazy! Steam came out of her head and red flashing light came out of nowhere!
“ ERROR! ERROR!” cried Alyssa. “Auto destructed
New Robot

I looked at the instructions manual,it says Codsworth has sensors that go around the car and can adjust to the traffics speed One day I start pressing buttons, Codsworth is not only a chauffeur, he is also a pet. I press the button ,Beep!Boop!, but nothing happened. So I left him on chauffeur mode.
Two days later, I find Codsworth is getting bored. I tell my mom, she says,
“I will let him drive you to grandpa’s house Saturday.” I argue back “but it’s only Tuesday.” She says Saturday. Late that night I here Codsworth making weird sounds,so we goto the car and start driving.
One hour later, Codsworth suddenly malfunctions.He starts speeding!I try to take control of of the car. I see blue and red lights, so I turned Codsworth off and stepped on the brakes. I quickly restart Codsworth before the officer gets there. He shows the officer his license and he gives us a ticket. I can’t let anyone know.We drove straight home. The ticket says $200. The next morning I tell my mom Codsworth malfunctioned, and it will cost $400. I walked Codsworth over to the nearest repair shop. I used $200 for Codsworth. While Codsworth was being repaired , I walked over to the police station and used the other $200 on the ticket.

How may I assist you Jonathan?” How did the robot know my name? “What just happened?” That was all I managed to say before I completely fainted. When I woke up the robot explained what happened. He told me that now he has personal settings from me and I can control him with my mind. All he needs now is a name. “I think I’ll call you Ronald after the founder of our town, Ron Town. Ronald West was supposedly a wizard that created this town with magic.” I thought it would be cool to name this high-tech, almost magical, robot Ron too!
Ronald could do almost anything, it’s awesome! He can even turn himself into a car and take me anywhere in town. I loved Ronald, it just felt like he wasn’t telling me something. So one day I tried something. Ronald said that I could use my mind to control him, so I asked him if there was something he was hiding from me. Sure enough, he said yes. “What is it. I promise I won’t tell anyone. You’re like the dog I never had. No. You’re like the friend I never had!” Then finally Ron told me. “I ran away from the government!” I was shocked. “Why?” He said that he was scared of having the responsibility of saving people. “They wanted me to help miners by dragging them to safety and making sure that the air was safe for them.” I knew it was sad, but I had to say it. “Dude I think you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me, but you have to go back.”

I was so happy! “Does it really work?” The government guy looked at me with the nicest eyes. “Yes, Jonathan. Just press this button and Ronald will show up on the screen.” Ronald looked just as happy as me. “Yay! I will never forget you Jonathan.” I looked at him and knew I wouldn’t forget him either. “Good bye and good luck Ron.” Then Ron turned into a car with the government guy inside and drove off.

“Cool!” I exclaimed.
As we played together like best friends I thought the day would never end. Later my parents said that we would be going to the beach happily we all jumped in the car and drove off. On the small road trip I rubbed Shelia’s tummy and played with her my then we had arrived.
“Wow look at all of the people” I exclaimed overjoyed.
As we all hopped out of the car I asked
“Can we go to the pier?”
“Ok sweety” my parents exclaimed.
Then we made our way there but suddenly seeing a fish swimming inside the ocean Sheila jumped right off of the pier not knowing that she would shut down.
“Nooo!” I screamed trying to jump to get her but it was too late.
Days past of me feeling angry at myself for not watching sheila. Until one day my parents went out for the afternoon not letting me come with them but after almost an hour of waiting they had arrived giving me a large heavy box. As I opened it tiers wielding in my eyes I had realized what my parents had bought me.
“A puppy” I exclaimed.
I jumped up and down tears in my eyes clutching the real adorable puppy. Then I knew that I would call her Sheila.

My New Robot
I went to go turn on my robot. Then my robot I brought my robot to life. The first thing I asked him was very simple.
¨ MY name is eddie ¨” I asked it.
¨Hi eddie¨the robot said. Then i said¨do you have a name¨ The robot said no. Then I thought I will have to gave my robot a name. I was trying out many different names, but none of them seem to fit. I finally thought of a name. Nelson was the new name of my robot.
¨Nelson¨ the robot repeated. I think that it liked its new name. I went downstairs and then my mom called me.
¨So hows the new robot¨ she asked. I said it was the best thing ever. Then she told my we were going to take a trip to the abonded mines. I was so excited that my ears almost blew off. Beep, beep. My robot nelson missed me.
¨Can we take we take the robot to.¨ I said She noded.When we got there my robot tested the air to make sure there were no chemicals in it. Then to worst thing happend.The mine started to collaps and I was stuck inside. Lucky for me there was a walky talky where I was traped. Nelson used his radio so i could the the people where I was. Then they finally got my out and everybody was safe.
¨How do you know how to get me out of there.¨ Nelson said he was also built to help miners in the mines. He used his radio to communicate with me and his thermal camera to track where I was.
¨Thank you for saving me nelson¨ Then we went home and went to bed.

As we tried to turn Cinnamon back on she shut all the way down.At that second we tried to turn her on but nothing happend and it was all silent. We ended up getting a real live puppy.

Beep! Beep! The light flashes on, his antennae goes up,Bella eyes come alive. How may I help you? The robot chattered. Oh my I said did you just really speak? My pulse raced.Can you hear me I asked? I told her come on let me show you my backyard. When we were starting walking I fell in a hole. Ah! Ah! I screamed help me get out of here bella.I said Are you gonna help me or are you just gonna stand there and watch me get stuck in a hole. Ah! Ah! I screamed once again. Are you gonna help me or not I said. The robot answered I am gonna help you just you have to be patient the robot said. When bella was trying to help me my friend andrea came and said who are you! The robot answered I am a robot and your friend got me to help her. Andrea answered help her with what ? The robot said I will help her drive her mom's car to school and places she needs to go. Andrea answered ok but where is my friend. The robot said she is stuck in a hole.Then andrea said then get her out of there.A few minutes later the robot took me out and I said thank you for helping me. My robot is a hero he saved my life.

In middle of the morning I woke up and went down stairs to check to see if anyone there. What I found was a robot in our living room in our home. My dad comes inside and told me that he bought me a robot and that it will always follow its new owner. When I turn it on I start hearing weird noises coming from the robot.
“How will I help you” said the robot which was very weird since the robot can talk.
My father told me that it will protect and follow its owner until if the owner wants to sell it to someone else.
I told the robot “Your name from now on is Joe”
After chatting a little I start getting ready for school and when I was walking I notice a weird noise coming from behind me. Clank, Clank! I turn around and found Joe right behind me holding a key which belongs to my parents car.
Do you need a ride” the Joe said. It was only a block away but I said ok. Joe and I got on the car and drove there. I got off the car and the Joe started to drive back home. After school I start walking back home finding Joe sitting on the couch
“Hello” Joe said. I start thinking that I don’t need a robot that protects me all day so I ask my parents if I could sell the and told me it’s your robot. I find a old women that was blind so I decide to sell it to her for 20$ and she bought. My life was now normal from now on.
Sparky drives for me
ReplyDeleteEver wanted a robot that could anything for you well, that happened to me. I read an article about that robots could do anything like saves lives, be your pet, and it can drive for you. I wanted a robot so I ordered on online. I got my robot in 5:00 am in the morning, I was so happy because I got my first robot. When I opened the box and took out my robot I turned the button beep,beep,bop, beep, bop, my robot said “Hello”. I said “My name is Raoul”, I told him I was going to name him Sparky. Sparky said he is a robot that could drive for me so I told him to take me and my brother and sister to soccer practice. So I told my brother and my sister to get ready for practice my brother said “WHAT?”, and my sister said “You can’t even drive a car”, she said to me but I told both of them that I ordered online a robot that could drive. The only problem was that Sparky didn’t ask my Mom or Dad to take the car, he the keys and started to drive I was relieved that Sparky could drive, I was having a contest with me and my brother to see how many minutes to solve a rubik's cube. We got to my soccer practice early and not in a rush because Sparky has sensors that can drive safe and we can also be safe.
After our soccer practice Sparky took us home but I told him to take us to IN-N-Out so I could buy food for my family so I ordered and I went back to home. We parked where it is supposed to be where it has to, I thought I was going to get in trouble because Sparky and I didn’t ask my Mom nor my Dad, and we did get in trouble but I explained every thing and my Mom, and Dad understood. I brought the food and both of them got surprised and said “ WHERE DID YOU GET THAT” I said “I got money so I could buy food for my family so we could enjoy it together as a family. But then one day Sparky made his own car then I said to return my books at the library, so he said OK beep. I was so tired that I watched the news the reporter said a robot was killed by a car accident and was sad Sparky was my best friend. He was a helpful friend for me and my family.

EPIC!!!
Ding dong! I ran down the stairs and opened the door in a flash! A box layed there on the ground waiting to be opened. I ripped it apart as fast as I could and out popped my robot! Beep! Beep!
The robot said “Hello!” I was so excited. After a couple of hours I had him programed. His name was Ean, his favorite color was green, he could find out anything in the world and he made pancakes in 2 sec. That night I went to sleep thinking about how cool it would be if I took Ean to school with me.
The next morning I got dresses as fast as I could. I came down stairs and said greeted Ean. I asked him to make me some pancakes. And sure enough he did. After that we Zooomed out the door and got in the car. I had a bad feeling about this. We talked and talked I told him about school and what homework was. He thought school and homework was cool. My thoughts were so different. When we arrived at school everyone thought he was spactacular! Diiinnnnggg! 5th period, science. Ean acted weird in the science room. He knew a lot about the solar system and Mars. I was kinda interested in why Ean was like that. That evening while he was driving home from school I thought to myself, why does Ean know so much about Mars? Thankfully we got home with the car before my mom got home. I was eating dinner when i heard a loud BOOM come from the front yard! I ran out there terrified to see what I saw! A spaceship laying on my lawn. A thousand of thoughts went throgh my head… are aliens attaking? Why is there a spaceship in my front yard? But my last thought scared me, is Ean an alien? I was paralyzed with fear, I didn’t know what to do. The last thing I remember seeing is Ean walking into the spaceship! Two years later I did my research and found out that Ean was an undercover alien that lived in Mars!!! From that day I hated robots and was nervous any time I saw somtehing suspicious in the sky I was scared.

My Robot
It was a cold December day in Miami, Florida of 2015. My parents arrived with a package. I asked “ What is that.” they said “ It’s for you here” “Thanks” I replied. I opened the package and a...robot. I went BONKERS! and fell. When I woke up I saw the robot I pressed the button and it went flashing in front of me. I fell because they finally got what I wanted. A few weeks past and I started to get to know Avia my robot more.
When I arrived at school my friends came rushing towards me I thought they were cheetahs at first. They said we should have a party at my house because my parents were going away for a few weeks. I agreed. We had a blast until my parents called and said they were coming home tomorrow. YIKES! Me and my friends freaked out and fell asleep. When I awoke the next morning my friends were all gone it was only me and my robot. I remembered that my parents were coming home and I started to clean up my robot helped as well. We finished just in time before my parents came home. I am glad that I have my helping robot Avia to help me with all this mess. Me and my robot had the best years in life.
Beep! Beep! Beep! It was my birthday. I couldn’t wait to see what was in my massive, jumbo present. Could it be a puppy. A new control system? I could fancied what was in that gift. I rapidly ripped the present into pieces. There in front of me was a 1900 dusty machine.

I didn’t really like the gift but it was better than nothing. What was this machine? Could it help me do my chores? What could it do anyways?
“Matt, it’s not what you think it is,” My dad explained. “It’s a-,”.
“A ROBOT,”! Mom continued.
“What can it do,” I asked.
I looked at the dusty robot. It looked like dwarfed sized droid to me. It was bright blue, outlined with a silver line. It had some round oval eyes. It had a metallic name already digged in the robot. It read Ian. I saw a bright red button on its side. I quickly pushed it. The oval eyes popped open faster than a hummingbird’s beat. In front of me was a half sized human robot.
“How may I advise you,”? The robot asked.
I was stunned. Did that robot just talk? Man I was so hysterical. This was so much better than a puppy or a game console.
“His name is Ian,” Dad said.
“Yeah, I can see that,” I replied. “What can he do Dad,”?
Then Dad said “Ian can bring you anything you want. An apple, a toy, you name it”. “Now this robot isn’t a puppy or any type of pet, but you are responsible for Ian. Understood,”?
“I understand”.
When the day was over I just couldn’t sleep. I was energetic. Finally after an hour I fell asleep.
Then suddenly I heard I heard a noise. I’d ignored it. Then all of a sudden Ian was in front of me. I pushed the side but and he was programed to shut off until someone pushed the button.
That next day mom said she had a meeting at her office. So it was just dad,Ian and the robot.
“Matt, Ian, come here right this instant,”! Dad growled.
“What happened Dad,” I asked.
“Mom’s wedding ring is missing, and where’s Ian”?! Dad replied.
“ Ian,” I shouted. “Oh dad I think I programmed him off last night”.
“Programmed him off”?! Dad said. “I programed him off last night”.
Opps! I thought. Sorry dad. What was mom going to do? Was she going to ground my robot for an entire century.
“Okay,” I thought. “Calm down”. “Dad” I said. “Maybe Ian accidentally stole mom’s wedding ring,”.
“Our goal is to find that wedding ring before mom gets here,” dad said.
Suddenly I heard “Beep,Beep-Error-Error-Error,”.
That has to be Ian. I dashed down the stairs. There I saw Ian grabbing random things and handing them to my house cat mittens. It grabbed mom’s flower vase, dad’s number one shirt, and my ipod touch.
“Dad, I see Ian” I blurted out.
Faster than lightning dad came running down the stairs. The house looked like a mess. It looked like an earthquake. Dad and I quickly programmed Ian off. We cleaned the house less than two hours. Ian even helped us. We found mom’s wedding ring in Ian’s stomach(storage box). Mom came in like nothing happened. Ian was rebuild and he was build to bring other items to other people. A doctor from Hoag Hospital took Ian for a job. The doctor gave me $5,000 for Ian. I really liked Ian. I’ll always have Ian in my memories. Farewell Ian.
