If you ask me I would prefer Dogs. I prefer dogs because they are more energetic than cats. I’m not that type of kid who likes to sit around and be lazy for most of the day. I like to go out and have fun. If I had a dog I’m pretty sure I would be out of the house a lot. I prefer dogs because they like to go on walks/runs. Not only is it good for the dog but it also helps the owner stay in good shape. The last reason I am going to tell you why I like dogs, it’s because you can keep them in your backyard and have more room inside. Also my grandparents have a cat that never goes inside and won’t let anyone around her. Dogs, on the contrary, do not bite or scratch as excessively as cats do. You could also go on a walk, show them new tricks, and play games like “Catch.” Dogs barking is not as bad as cats meowing to me. I also like dogs because they are energetic and they will run around, instead of cats which usually lie down in the same spot.

I have two emotional support dogs that help me whenever I need it. Dogs love to cuddle and play and spend all their days with you. They will love you no matter what and will stay loyal to you if you stay loyal to them. Dogs will sometimes do whatever they can to protect their loved ones. If you need a dog that you can be athletic with you can go on runs or play fetch (if you have the right breed). On the other hand cats usually are not used to help with everyday things. Cats like to roam free and go about their day. Typically cats do not play fetch or go on runs either. There are many pets around the world that are favorable to the person that has it, depending on the person that likes them. I would really want to have a dog, more than a cat because dogs are quiet friendly and help you protect your home. If you feel lonely or sad, they are there for you. Cats can do the same things, but they can scratch you pretty badly, and spit hairballs which makes a mess wherever it does it. Dogs however don’t do that, and if they scratch, it will be an accident. I think cats will be a better pet because the cats do not bark and they do not poop on the flour. When cats do need to poop they find somewhere where they can dig. My mom really dislikes noise when she gets home from work, and my cats just usually sit on our beds or on our lap when we’re doing something, which makes actually doing stuff a lot easier. I also don't hayve a lot of energy when I get home to play with a dog or anything, or take it on walks and such, so having a cat is easier because she just sits near me and I can pat her whenever I want. I think it's a lot easier to have a cat overall, plus if you get toys and stuff that the cat likes you can always play with them if you’re bored.
