Right now the US government is giving out money "free" money to some of its taxpayers. The intent is to stimulate the economy and possibly help those who may need money to get by. What would you do right now if you got $1000?
I would spend that money on toilet paper and food because we are running out of toilet paper in my house. With the money, I would also buy a new computer for myself. My old computer is kind of new but it has a virus. And I don't know how to fix it. I would also by myself a new mouse because my old one has scratches on it and it's worn out over time. The last thing I would buy is a bunch of Kool-Aid. - Alexis
What I would spend the money on depends on whether I am receiving it as an adult or kid. If I was an adult receiving the money I would probably spend it on necessities like food and water. I would regulate how much we spend. I would make sure we have enough money the entire time. If I was a kid spending $1000 I would probably buy Robux for the game I play ROBLOX. If I did not spend it on ROBLOX I would probably buy a new computer. This is what I would spend the $1000 on. Jeremy
I would rather keep half of the money I recieve, in case of emergancy, and give the other half to people that dont have food or homes, beause right now, They are going to be one of the most infected people because of Coronavirus. If I didnt use it for that, I would give the other half to hospitals and other organizations that are attending sick people with coronavirus. If I didnt use the other half for that, than i would buy a bunch of stuff, to try to find cure for the coronavirus. Angel

I would either buy another nintendo switch, or a playstation 5, reason being my cousin and me could both have one so she will stop playing on mine. I would get the Playstation 5 because I like to play video games and also, why not. I would also stock up on Totino's Pizza Rolls. After that I would save the money.
I know that we are supposed to save the money for food and toilet paper but I'm tired of the some old entertainment such a reading and watching TV. I would buy a Nintendo switch with the $1000. I would also buy the game Smash Bros Ultimate. That would probably leave me with around $650, that I would give to my Mom for everything else that we need for these tough times. That is what I would do i I got $1000.

After that I would buy lots of jewelry like necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Then I would get another pet dog so that way I have two dogs to cuddle. After that I will want to buy a hundred birthday presents for me and my family. Then I would want to buy a car that is my size and that I am old enough to drive it. After that I would like to take classes to learn how to play the piano or the ukulele. I would also like to take classes to learn how to speak different languages. And finally I would want to buy a new computer and a new tablet. That is what I would buy if I had 1000 dollars to spend.
Why is the government giving out money to taxpayers? So that they can support their families. $1000 doesn’t go very far for minimum wage workers. If all of the higher class could donate their money to the lower class of citizens than w the lower class could support. That would push the economy in the right direction so it would soften the fall of the economy. Ryan
