This weekend I went to my friends house. First, we went to get some sushi. Next, we went back to the house and played in the backyard. Then we played some video games and picked some guavas. That is what I did this weekend.Aaron
1/13/20 This weekend I went to Disneyland for the first time, and it was really underwhelming. The only rides I thought were good were Space Mountain, the blaster ride, and Splash Mountain. I guess it was underwhelming because in Universal Studios, the rides are kinda extreme with special effects and such. People were complaining about 30 minutes being too long to wait, but i've waited 2-3 hours in line for a ride at Universal Studios before. Plus, the rides are either faster or cooler in Universal Studios. In conclusion, Disneyland was okay but I didn't really like it.
Over the weekend I went to Knott’s Berry Farm, when I was there we went on so many rides. When we were lining up for Ghostrider it broke down so we had to leave. The ride I really wanted to go on when we were there was the log ride because it is my favorite ride. Unfortunately, it was also broken down. So we ended up doing the Calico River Rapids 2 times, and we got soaked which is why we brought rain jackets. We brought rain jackets because we learned from the previous experience to not get drenched because you will feel miserable. Since we have a season pass we added a free food pass, so we ate a free meal, which was delicious because my stomach was empty. Then we went on a ride called Coast rider which was sort of fun, because you had one freefall but then it saw basically just a straight line. I would have much preferred GhostRider. Also, there was another ride voyage to the iron reef which was not operating, but overall I had a really great and fun time. That was all I did at Knott’s Berry Farm over the weekend. Jeremy
One event from this weekend is that I went shopping. The stores that I went to where fashion Q colloset 21 and more. Something that I got was a new shirt it was like a cowgirl shirt my mom and my sister also got the same shirt so now we are maching I also got a new black jacket. After we were done we went to Mcdonalds and I got 1 mcchicken because i want very hungry. After that we went home all went to sleep. Aimmee
This weekend I ha a soccer games. We had a soccer game that we got lucky because they almost made a goal but goalkeeper block the goal that they were going to make on us. In the second half we also made a goal but it hit the crossbar. We got lucky because it was 0-0.Edwin
1/13/20 Alexis One event from this weekend was watching a horror movie. The movie was kind of old and was from 2010-2016. The movie was called The Ring, I watched it at night when my parents were downstairs. I didn’t exactly know what the movie was about but I still enjoyed it anyways. I was terrified when there was a jumpscare in the movie. It seemed so realistic to me! Since I fell asleep during the movie, I didn’t get to see it all. So when I get home from school I will finish the movie.
Giselle One thing I did this weekend was clean the garage and clean my room. My dad went to the store to go get some bins. Then we got all of the bins and put stuff that we really needed. We also put the stuff that we didn't need in boxes. After we were done with the garage I went to my room to clean.
I did many things this weekend and visited many places, but my favorite event took place in a park playing soccer. In that park, there were many trees and taller than normal trees.The reason why this is my favorite event is because we don’t really get out much to have some fun. The only ways we go out is by going to a meeting , going to get groceries, or going to church. I am not saying that I don’t like church.In the park I practiced soccer with my grandpa and dad, who were soccer players in El Salvador. They taught me many tricks that I have used in many games. Some of you may not believe me because they have never seen me soccer, or do some tricks, but I do. In the park, we just kicked the ball to each other, until my grandpa decided to kick the ball very hard, and when the ball came to me, I saw an opportunity to kick the ball higher than the trees , and I did it.In a soccer game, back in El Salvador, my grandpa kicked the ball from his group’s side into the other teams side and made a goal. Considering that it was from the other side, it must be a very hard to do that. I have practiced to do that but the farthest it can get is into half of the field. I am not on a soccer team, so I practice in a variety of different parks. By: Angel
I went to LA yesterday me and my mom are book worms but not really me but we saw a bookstore . My mom said “lets go’” so we went it was huge a lot of books so we looked we looked around we got a couple of books . I got a book about Nikola Tesla and we went upstairs and we looked around more books ! There was a lot of pictures places my favorite was a tunnel made out of books and the books were old ! So went back down stairs and we got a bag to carry our books and it was heavy so on the way back to our car the bag broke se we had to carry it by hand! And the books were heavy also we parked far from the bookstore. Gabby
Alexander This weekend, on Sunday, I watched a football game, The Chiefs vs. The Texans. My family was all going for the Chiefs considering it was their favorite team. The Texans scored a touchdown so now the Chiefs were losing. The Texans intercepted one of the passes and got a touchdown so the score was 14-0. After that the Chiefs kicked a punt and the Texans jumped in front, blocked it, and got a touchdown, so the score was 21-0. At the end the Chiefs made a remarkable comeback and won 51-31.
This weekend, I went to a park with my aunt and cousins. I had to watch my youngest cousin, Alice, while she played on the playground. This was very mentally tiring because she is only 2 years old and she trips and falls a lot. I was constantly on edge, watching to see if she stumbled. It was a little bit like babysitting for no pay, but Alice is pretty agreeable and not too hard to take care of, so it was fine. I took her to see a lake at the border of the park. She liked climbing over the large rocks to get there. Once when Alice was on the playground, I lost sight of her for a second, and then she was gone. I was mildly panicked until I saw her on the swings, laughing. Maggie
Over the weekend I went with my dad and he threw me a birthday party. The party was for my cousin and I. At the party play hide and seek tag. We all hide together and kenny was the seeker. BOO!!! Kenny came from behind the truck were we were. Mattew got stuck in the trunk so he got tagged. Then I told my sister and helen to hide with me. We hide in the room in the bathroom. I went to go check where they were and they were already at the door. Thump! We slapped the door on them as fast as we could. I couldn’t lock the door so I held it closed but when they pulled I let go hoping to make them fall so we can have time to escape. We took a nice break and grabbed a cold drink. Later on we played clash royal because we were bored and than we all discovered we had the game. In the end we went home and feel fast asleep. -Myah
This weekend, I went to the park. The air was chilly, but later it got a little hot. I was playing handball with my dad and my sister. The ground was squishy and muddy. Like soft serve ice cream. The ball was a volleyball, but it still worked well as a handball. My sister kept on taking out slices every time she was server. This is one event that I have done over this weekend. isaac
This weekend I did from this weekend I went to the doctors. When I got there, I was really tired. When the doctor came he told me I was going to have five shots. I at the time I was really nervous but at the end I was fine. The nurse came in to tell me that I might be dizzy but I wasn't. The next day I felt really dizzy and could barely walk.Derek

One event from this weekend was watching a horror movie. The movie was kind of old and was from 2010-2016. The movie was called The Ring, I watched it at night when my parents were downstairs.
