“Kinnies say they’re communists but then say no doubles. Bro that's OUR kin.” I joked with my sister. We both giggled childishly. We were stopping at a 7-11 because we were driving a while to get to my mom's second work which was pretty far away. I had gotten Dippin Dots instead of chips because, I mean, who wouldn't? Dippin Dots are good. Me and my sister kept making jokes about sharing things like kins. “Kins be like ‘no doubles’ but they ARE the double.” My sister said as we got into the car. When we got into the car was when we stopped joking around. She played her music in the car and I put on my headphones, and we were mostly silent the rest of the trip.

  2. One event from this weekend is that I went with my family all the way to San Jacinto. I think that’s what it’s called. We were going there two check out some houses. That was fun. But before that was the problem. It was a 1hour drive from Costa Mesa, to San Jacinto. It got really boring. Just a bunch of bleak, brown mountains passing along the car window. Eventually, ( and finally), my mom saw how bored we were and gave us our electronics. That was the solution. I played Super Smash Bros Ultimate, a bit of Minecraft, and Super Mario Maker. It was fun. My sister got my mom's phone and did TikTok. Isaac

  3. Over the weekend I played football with my mom, since she had never done it with me before I didn’t throw hard. We were having fun, whilst we were throwing it back and forth, and I was even kicking the ball too. When we were getting tired of only throwing it back and forth, we decided to try something new, I was going to be the center and throw it to her. Only issue was we were too close, and I threw it too hard. SMACK! I threw the ball right at her nose, and she wasn’t ready. After this we went inside to get some ice, and I made sure she was okay. This is what happened over the weekend.

  4. On a very boring and casual day, I was reading my very interesting book about Egyptian mythology, which I haven't finished yet. I read the whole morning until my mom said “get ready, we are going to a place I am very sure you will like.” with the grin on my mother’s face, I could tell the variety of places we could be going. Some of those places are boring for me, but there was only one place that we could possibly go to, but it wasn’t. Apparently we went to get clothes, but not for me, for my brothers, and honestly I never really like to go shopping or anything similar. The good thing is that I brought my phone and a very interesting book. A very boring , but interesting hour later, we were still shopping, and we were not done yet, but lucky me I had my phone once I finished the book. After three hours of shopping for anything that my mom or brothers saw, i said “Finally.” I eventually finished the free game and went home.i told my mom that she took like four hours in total for everything, but she denied it. The next time I went shopping with my mom, I was going to bring some big books to finish them while I am there.

This weekend I sat around like a lazy couch potato. A prisoner of his own property. A one confined by not only by mental restraints but also by physical barriers. Luckily when Sunday rolled around, I had an opportunity to go outside. I played against others in a game of basketball. We met up at Newport Beach and we played on a double hoop. I could see these guys were extremely talented right off the bat. They did fancy crossovers and moves but they couldn’t outplay me! One of the guys even told me they went to the same tournament as me in Oregon. They introduced me to their six-foot-tall brother that could almost dunk. One of the boy’s names was Joaquin and Matteo. Overall I’m just really glad I got the chance to be outside because quarantine is driving me crazy!
