One Positive

Hi everyone! I'm hoping to connect with you soon! For now, if you want to write a journal entry, write about one positive thing that happened to you this week. Please remember my expectations to only write your journal entry, and make only positive comments to others. This is NOT a social media outlet so please no "chats" on each others posts.

  1. This week, I taught my son Jacob how to play sharks and minnows! Of course it was a little difficult to play with only 1 shark (me) and 2 minnows (Katie and Jacob). But, we still had fun! It was nice to get out of the house and enjoy the fresh air!!! I look forward to hearing from you all soon!

  2. This week I was working on dribbling drills in the backyard. I wanted to play with my team but practicing is good enough at least I get to play. My dad told me that if he had time he would build be a basketball court here at the shop which is his work that he owns. I am really excited for that to happen so that I can practice and get better even though this virus is happening.

    1. Hi Myah! I'm glad you got to practice even if it wasn't with your team. Keep up the positive thoughts!

  3. This week, I went to the beach with my dad and sister. I enjoyed it because it was nice to get away from the house and walk around. I did regret having to change out of pajamas, though. While we were there, my sister collected rocks and shells that washed onto shore and played with the sand. In the sand she found a small animal with little tentacles and a shell on its back. When the tide washed over it, the strange animal went back into the sand. It was very cold that day, so we didn't swim, but it was nice to just watch the water and hear it wash over the rocks. This week on Monday my mom, my sisters, and I got to make projects out of pipe cleaners! We also used fabrics too. My little sister, Rebecca made a little minion doll out of fabric. My middle sister, Mia made pretty flowers out of pipe cleaner. And I tried to make a doll dress out of fabric. Then, we tried to do some school activities on the computer, which was very confusing. We are all still wondering when school is going to start again because I feel like the computer is not helping me learn enough. Next, we watched a movie on Disney plus. In the end, I had a nice day.

  6. Giselle,
This week I started creating my business. The first thing that I did was buy all the stuff that I needed. Then I made some stickers that said the name of my business. Next I made ingredients and website cards. I still need to print the cards and get ingredients that I got. Hopefully I can start making everything by next week.

  8. Something positive I did this week was that I was able to go on walks with my Mom even with everything that is happening. I am happy that I got to do this because everything else is closed and it helps me get all of this off of my mind and it lets me just relax. On our walk we took our dog bear, and he also helped cheer us up. I hope everyone stays as safe as possible. I think we are all going to be just fine so me and my family are just staying positive and I think everyone else should too.

  9. Something positive I did this week is that I finished my robot.Yep. Last year I did a robot that could draw, but this time, its going to talk walk and definitly draw. After many tries, I finally finished my robot, without my little brothers smashing it down to pieces. Another positive thing I did this week is that my family and i started our bussniss, and my grandpa says that i am the secratary. and also the third in command in the bussniss. The last positive thing that I did this weekand is that I went to the store, and by some sort of huge miracle, there were not many people. After all these positive thing, there are still bad things tht have happened to me, and I got sick, but I'm still positive about everything that is going on. I really hope that everyone is safe.

  14. This week I went to the park to practice basketball by myself. I packed my backpack and got on my scooter and headed off quickly to Waekem Park. Someone that I had not seen for a year was there! Tiffany and her friend Gigi were playing basketball. Like, little producers, we made our own skits. They towered over me when we were recording our skits. They were like skyscrapers and I was like a little hut. Florida is going great and she had made new friends. After that, I got to play a game of basketball with one of the guys playing there. At first, we were neck and neck but I can’t be fine with just being close to him. I had trained every day for the last three months so I couldn’t let a competitor slip between the cracks. When they’re not passionate about their mission they say “It’s just a game.” Imagine saying that to LeBron James or Tom Brady. For people that are committed and determined it’s not just a game. It’s “the game.” So I beat him by the end and we went home. It was 7:30 when I finished. Went home in the rain but the rain wasn’t the only water on my head.
