  1. 3/2/30 Turn 1 event from this weekend into a personal narrative.
Here we go again. My sister called for the fifth time today, and its only the morning. I don't want to seem insensitive, but she was just being ridiculous. I was at the library with my mother and my phone started buzzing. Obviously I had it on vibrate so it didnt make noise, but when I looked my sister was calling me. She was probably calling me because my mom didn’t answer. I could see she was busy looking at a book from across the aisle. “Mom!” I whispered. My mom looked over at me. I gestured to my phone. “Tell her to call you in a bit.” My mom responded. I told my sister I was busy, then when we went to the car with our stuff I called her. She was crying again. “What's wrong ‘miha?” My mom asked. My sister responded with her almost incomprehensible words. “(Hic) Mom I don't know what (Hic) to (Hic) do because it's gonna be late and I still can't UNDERSTAND (Hic) and I'm gonna fail the class!!” She cried. I was quiet, but in my mind I was a bit annoyed. We’ve tried to tell her it doesn't have to be perfect, and she doesn’t need to completely understand what was written. Her assignment was to read a lady’s argument about something, then rearrange the argument in three pages with all she said. It seemed easy, just rearrange it. However my sister was insistent on that she had to completely understand what it said and that her paper had to be perfect or she would fail the class. She said what she had written didnt make sense and my mom tried to convince her that she should just turn it in while we were going home. Eventually she had to go to lunch, and hung up to go eat. I was sort of tired about her crying about it already, because she was being unreasonable and didnt even want to turn in what was done. When my mom let me play music again, I thought that it was finally the last time my sister would call.
    (It wasnt.)

  2. The drivers circled the Costco parking lot like vultures ready to devour a rotting carcass searching frantically for an empty parking space. Each time a person came near, they pounced on the opportunity to seize the posible vascanet space. I thought to myself, this is madness! What on Earth is going on. It felt like black friday, but it was only February. Wait a minute, today was Leap day, February 29th. Was there some special promotion going on that I was unaware of? Then it hit me! It was not a special day or promotion, it was FEAR! Fear of the coronavirus! All these scavengers were at Costco stockpiling goods in the unlikely event of an apocalyptic disease taking over our homes.
After an eternity of hunting for a spot, I gave up. When I got home I talked to my husband.
“You wouldn’t believe the amount of people at Costco,” I said.
“Yeah, didn’t you hear? It’s all over Facebook,” he replied. “I guess a bunch of people are panicking and clearing out all the paper goods and water!”
“That’s insane!” I exclaimed! “All I wanted was a simple trip to Costco, and I ended up in Resident Evil!”
All and all, I ended up finally accomplishing my mission of going to Costco on the following day. It was still a zoo, but at least I got the items I wanted. Let’s hope this fear subsides and we can all go back to having pleasant trips to Costco.

  3. This weekend, I went to the park with my dad, sister, and mom. My mom wasn’t playing though. Me, and the rest of my family played handball. We got the ball ready, and decided that my sister was going to be a server first. I quickly got her out and my dad went in. I called backdoors and slices, baby’s, too. Of course my dad was strong, so he hit the ball hard. I quickly hit it, somehow, it made, this time, my dad did a baby, I took this opportunity to hit the ball also had, my dad hit it, the ball landed in the middle of the pavement, it was perfect for a slice, I hit the ball and it went really low to the ground, and it was fast, my dad countered it with another slice and got me out. My sister got my dad out, but it was only because he went easy on her, even though she’s 10 years old. I quickly got her out with a mix of a cross country and a baby. This time I beat my dad because of an outliner. The game went back and forth until eventually, my sister got tired of losing and went to rest in the car with my mom. My dad beat be most of the time. That was a big problem for me. I eventually tried doing the cross country/ baby and won the games! My dad was hitting harder though so I was forced to play the defensive most of the time, me and my dad wanted to leave so we left. But handball that day was fun! Isaac

  4. Turn 1 event from this weekend into a personal narrative.
My sister ushered me towards the car impatiently. “Come on, COME ON!” I waved her away as I slid into the car. “Fine, I’m coming,” I said. As the car engine thrummed, my little sister, Ivy, bounced in her seat with excitement. “Let’s go to Mitsuwa!” she cried. Mitsuwa is a Japanese marketplace with a bakery and a food court. We were about to go there for lunch. Finding a table was surprisingly easy because the food court was not busy like it usually is. We ordered dumplings and curry udon to share, and Ivy got sticky rice and shrimp tempura. We also had Japanese sodas called Ramune. After eating, we went to go get dessert. That was what Ivy was waiting for, I’m sure, because she practically exploded waiting for our meal to be over. For dessert, we got some marshmallow candy for Ivy and dark chocolate for me, along with an apple flavored pastry from the bakery. The candies that Ivy got are not that good in my opinion, and I wondered why she picked them instead of any of the pastries in the bakery. Still, I was glad she was happy.

This weekend, I played Mario Party on my Nintendo Switch with my cousin and my sister. First, we all picked our characters, Donkey Kong, Peach, and I was Dry Bones. Then, we actually started to play. One by one we all connected enough coins to get stars. My sister all got mad at the CPU because they stole their coins and I was laughing. I was in second place with 1 star, and then the CPU stole it so I had no coins or stars. I was mad at this point and said “ What the heck!” After this I finally regained enough coins to get three stars. In the end I got 2nd place with 4 stars, but I still had a lot of fun playing.
After playing Mario Party I played a river rafting mode, but the CPU was no help and we could not gather up enough time to finish the course, so what’s new. I mean I still despise CPU’s so not a lot

  6. This weekend I went to Mt.Baldy. I was happy to go because it is beautiful up their but especially in the snow. When we got up their it started to snow a lot and we had to put on snow chains and it was getting scary because the road was getting narrow and we were slipping but then… we got grip and there was a snow plow so we got even more traction. When we got to the sledding spot nobody was their and we had the whole place to ourselves. We were sledding and my brother ran the sled into me and then snow from a tree fell on us. Then me and my dad had a snow ball fight. Later, we were going to leave and me and my dad shoveled snow in the back of the truck and wanted to see if it could make it back home. We left and we went to the store on the way home and the snow was their. We were home and surprisingly the snow was still there and we had another snowball fight. Then I put snow everywhere to look like it snowed. That was a cool adventure.Aaron

  7. Over the weekend I played with my brother on our computers. I asked him “ Want to play Bloxburg?”
    And he responded with “Sure.”
When we were playing I encountered a problem, I didn’t have a lot of money. This resulted in me and my brother getting a job as pizza delivery drivers. After just an hour I had over 100,000 dollars. I was happy that I finally had some spending money, so I helped build my brother a house. Even though we were working all weekend and made lots of money, we spent lots of money too. In my opinion the best part was when my friends joined us, and we all went to my brothers house. We were all having fun until my brother said that he had to go to work, so the party was over. My brother started out as a miner but then he realised it didn’t make him much money so he switched to pizza delivery. At the end of the weekend of spending and working we had around 100,000 dollars each. This is one of the events I did over the weekend with my brother, my friends, and me.

Turn one event from this weekend into a personal narrative.
This Sunday I went to In-N-Out in the afternoon to eat with my family. It was cold and kind of foggy when we got there so we quickly got inside and went to find a table. My mom asked “What do you want to order?”, to which I replied the usual “Cheeseburger and Cheese Fries”. Yummy! We sat down on our table and waited for our food to come. “Let me take the corner seat!” I shouted to my brother Andy. “Noooo! I got here first!”. We kept arguing on who should take the corner seat for 2 whole minutes. In the end, I got the corner seat. Oh Yeah! Then I noticed my little sister talking with another girl about the same age as her. I didn’t really hear what they were saying until our food came. Then, it looked like my sister was showing off her cheeseburger to the other girl. In my mind I kept thinking, “WHY WON’T YOU LET THE OTHER GIRL EAT HER OWN FOOD!”. We ate our food PEACEFULLY after that… UNTIL my little baby brother Edwin started wandering around the restaurant. My mom kept telling him, “Where are you going?!” and “Stay here we don’t want you to get lost.”. The look on my baby brother’s face was telling my mom “IT'S A FREE COUNTRY!” We finally finished our food and got outta there. I was so happy when we got back home that I immediately got out my phone to play.

  10. Giselle,
One event I did this weekend was go to Nascar with my mom and my brother. When we got there we went to go find a spot to eat. After we went to eat food we went to get some snow cones. Then we had to find seats. When we got to the seats we started to eat the food that we got. It started to rain while we ate food, that was the worst. . We had to stand for the National Anthem. After all of that the race began. There was a car that was 6 laps behind because its car wasn't going as fast as the other cars. But in the lead was #88 and he stayed in the lead and he won. We also went to the stop that was there to see what they had there. My brother got a car and I got a speed limit keychain. It was really fun now I want to go back next year.

  11. Personal narrative turn 1 event from this weekend into a personal narrative (a story about you)
Over the weekend I went to get my mom a parking pass from the office of our apartment complex. I went because my mom was parked so far away from our apartment that she always said she was parked in “Europe” and I did not want to walk that far when I went with her to the store to get the groceries. So I went down there to get one for her (take in mind that there is a new girl working there rather than the usual girl, Misty). She tells me that there is one pass left and then asks me for my apartment number I say “F**9” (I had just gotten back from being with my dad and went there while my mom was asleep). She then tells me that she has already issued a pass to F**9 that day and I then asked if it was my mom and she said “I think soo…”. I then walked back to my apartment and asked my mom if she had gotten a pass (she had woken up) and then she told me she hadn't so i went back there to ask for a pass AgAiN!!! (I was very determined to get that pass) I then walk in and told the new girl that my mom had not gotten a pass and she then apologized over and over again and finally gave me a pass for R78.

  12. Over the weekend, the tornadoes had another basketball game. They warmed up and went to the coach when there was a minute left. They played against Sgv. The tornadoes always beat them. They were missing a few girls. There was Liz, Abby, Emily,Teresa, Cc, and me. Whenever I got to the hoop Emily always threw it high and then when he saw I didn’t catch it she got mad at me. Abby would also throw it high and Liz to. They weren’t running as fast as usual. Everyone was playing at their level, not our level. Liz and Emily wouldn call out the play and then when they passed the ball we didn’t know what to do so we just kept trying to drive and shoot. They failed me but the ref didn’t call a fali. They travel and everything but nothing, but when it was us he just kept calling them. In the first half we already filled out. I wasn’t even in yet. Then he put me in and no falis. When I had the ball I went up but she was blocking me but no one was on Abby so I passed it to her. “Abby here.” I had 0 falis, Emily had 4, Liz had 3, Teresa had 3, Abby had 1, and Cc had 2. We were so close to getting there but the timer went out. It was a bad game but we have to learn somehow. Coach took us aside and said, “You guys need to run faster and play at your level not theirs. You guys could have won if you ran the plays and did 40 correctly. We can’t win every game we play and you guys can’t get stressed out about it. The games we lose is a learning experience to learn from our mistakes. Other than that Emily doesn't forget to bring the trophy to practice and that's it.”

Turn one event from the weekend into a personal narrative.
Ryan woke up grasping his blanket for warmth. His body was all numb except his arms. For a weekend, he woke up particularly early for which he liked to sleep in on weekends. He sat up groggily and shivered quite a lot. Ryan heard his phone buzz and he slowly was lured out of his bed. His blurry eyes couldn’t accept what the message said. Slowly but surely his eyes adjusted. It was his friend Phillip. He could see that it said “can you meet me at Volcom Outdoor from 8;45 to 9:00. Ryan hurried to text him back. “I can meet you at 9:00 since I’m still getting out of bed.” He got his morning hustle on. Shower, get dressed, breakfast, music, brush teeth, and then head out. Excitedly he hurried out of the house like Sonic the Hedgehog. When he got there he couldn’t even see Phillip. Disappointment hit like a truck and ruined his mood and you don’t want to talk to grouchy Ryan. He put on some music to get his blood pumping. Ryan flew threw the air like an acrobat. The smooth landing brought him back for more and more and more. His new scooter was a work of art, it was magical. This was not a Razor scooter that hurt your ankles and collapsed on your leg, this was the scooter that could soar to new heights. I zoomed around the fast turns and tabletops with ease. Finally, Phillip came in the nick of time. They cruised around on their wheels like professionals on a mission. I watched an actual expert at skating fly through the air. I was so nervous that he was going to crash but he had it all under control.

On a very weird day of March, I was building a very huge robot that could talk, walk, and draw anime. I was very proud of my accomplishment once I was done, but unfortunately, I have little brothers that will break a piece of your furniture at least once per day. It's not that I don't love them, I do but sometimes they can organize a whole mess. When I was about to test my robot, My brother and sister came barging into the room. Since I knew what they were capable of I tried to hide my robot, but it was too big, and sooner or later it was going to be broken. Apparently , My brothers broke it and were all crumpled up on the floor. It was made out of cardboard, and I only used a very small motor and little wires to make it work, but they were broken. Later, once I was cleaning the mess that my siblings made, I found out that I should be grateful that they destroyed it. Apparently, my robot could or would detonate himself, but it would be a very small explosion. All because I forgot to put another wire. I had to start all over again, but this time, I was going to draw it on paper first. A few days before I discovered that with just a rubber band large enough would make the robot move. When I started I was on track, but then I started drawing Manga, flipbooks and some other drawings too. When I was done drawing I heard many “ahhhs,” but they were because they were pretty good and because I finished a journal drawing all that stuff. I started to like drawing and from then on I was going to draw. I finished my drawings of the robot after all that and said”Yes, I'm done,” but I was not. I had to get a variety of supplies that would take weeks to get, but at least I was done with the plan on how to do it in my cosy home. I was done and I talked with my mom and dad and said (translated) “We cannot help you with the robot , but we can help you in getting the stuff that you need.” “thanks Mom and Dad”and was grateful for that. After all it was a crazy day with revelations on what could go wrong and discover that I liked to draw.
